We’re excited to mark the return of Gulf Coast MakerCon with a full fun slate of creative exhibits and activities, running from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday, May 27 at the Tampa Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI).

From artists to combat robotics, soldering to collage making, inventors to wood crafters, jewelry makers to AI educators to taking things apart and soldering them together, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at Gulf Coast MakerCon 2023!

The Deets

When: Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 10 am to 6 pm

Location: Tampa Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) Education Center located at 4801 E. Fowler Avenue Tampa, Florida 33617

What to expect: The event map above provides a high-level overview of the different exhibit areas you’ll find in and around the MOSI Education Center.

There will be a Combat Robotics tournament running all day (3 lb and under class), Deconstruction Zone activity area sponsored by Esmart Recycling, crowd-sourced craft projects, science and tech activities, drones, and more.  You can find a full list of exhibitors and activities on our Exhibitor page.

Cost: FREE!  Gulf Coast MakerCon is free to attend.  No tickets are necessary but registered guests are can bring theirtickets to be entered for door prizes awarded throughout the day.  (Must be present to win.)

We’ll also be joined by Conte’s Concessions , Pamz PIzza Conez, and Abbots Frozen Custard if you get hungry after all that creative exercise!
