Bits4Bots is a tech hardware company with a STEM focus that helps create a hands-on learning environment in the classroom or home with engaging projects that promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  

The Forge is a Social Gaming Center, a dedicated space where gamers can come together to play their favorite video games.

Hosted by USF Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, SHPE Jr. aims to provide youth with opportunities to participate in hands-on STEM activities, become educated about possible career paths, and become empowered and involved in the world of STEM as a Hispanic individual.

3D Musketeers specializes in full service, art to part, custom additive manufacturing, and 3D printing solutions. They also host the Making Awesome podcast series, which they’re bringing to MakerCon this year!

Black Unicorn Educationᵀᴹ is the go-to platform for informal learning resources about emerging technologies, featuring content that highlights perspectives of diverse communities.

Innovation Academy is an online, creative arts trade private high school, providing a blended education program that uniquely combines a high school education with career readiness and experience in digital content creation, journalism, and illustration.​​

The Caribbean American National Development Organization (CANDO) focuses on promoting and uniting diverse cultures and partnerships.  At MakerCon, they’re showcasing their new community youth robotics program!

The mission of Kids Doing Business is to provide elementary and middle school students with a 10-step business plan as a map to success. 

FIRST Robotics Competition team 5276, the Edgar Allan Ohms, is a high school robotics team based at AMRoC Fab Lab in Tampa. They’ll be running robot demos, showing prototypes and letting guests do some robot driving!

BDCHS students showcase Underwater robotics

FIRST Tech Challenge Team 2845,  Team Duct Tape, is a middle and high-school-level robotics team based at AMRoC Fab Lab.  Students will be running robot demos and letting guests try their hand at driving a robot,too!

Makerspaces & Community Organizations

E-smart is an e-waste recycling company whose mission is to recycle old technology from individuals and companies, at the highest compliance standards, and use a portion of the proceeds to fund tech labs for kids without access to computers worldwide. E-smart hosts the Gulf Coast MakerCon Deconstruction Zone!

AMRoC Fab Lab is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Manufacturing) learning and idea development center located in the University Mall.  

Scoutlier is a digital assistant that helps you design, scaffold and personalize your lessons and deliver them on any device so that your students learn more independently and engage more deeply with their activities.
