Black Unicorn Education is an emerging technology company with a mission to “make tech make sense” for everyday people by any creative means necessary! Black Unicorn Education trains traditionally overlooked communities in the areas of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies through inclusive content, connections to resources, and community-driven
learning.
Part of Black Unicorn’s mission is to provide learning experiences that help people understand artificial intelligence and other technologies through unique offerings including themed pop-up workshops, games, and even an AI Education Comedy Show! The CEO, Ora Tanner has recently brought the unique learning brand of Black Unicorn Education to the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida at STEMapalooza 2024, to small business owners during National Small Business Week, and to male college students at the 17th Annual Black, Brown and College Bound Summit in Tampa, Florida.
Ms. Tanner will be giving a series of mini-presentations (~20 minutes) at MakerCon that introduce attendees to AI and show them how to use a specific category of tool (i.e. AI text generators, image generators, music generators). We’re pretty sure you’ll leave with more knowledge and understanding, and some fresh perspectives, about Artificial Intelligence than you had when you arrived!
